Staff Information

Principals

The leadership of NUB has many years of health insurance marketing and consultative experience.  We have a team that prides itself on “results”.

A. JUDSON BUSH A. Judson Bush entered the insurance industry in 1965.  He has held key marketing/sales positions in both the life and health insurance sides of the industry.  Jud’s insurance background is varied.  He has been an Agent, General Agent, Supt. of agencies and Regional Vice President for two national companies.  He has also been an intermediary and consultant with two commercial carriers.  Since 1986, Jud has been in the health insurance brokerage business in Ohio.

 

 

Stephen S. Davis, CLU began his insurance career in 1975 with Aetna Life Insurance.  He has been in charge of the sales and marketing other large health insurance carriers.  His principal experience is leading health insurance organizations; he has had an opportunity to deal, first hand, with the daily challenges of getting a product to the market and achieving the required results.  Serving the health insurance industry as President of CAHU and closely working with political leaders has been an important challenge for Steve.

 

 

Randolph J. Ayers started in 1976 as an independent insurance agent in a small town.  He has had continued success both as a sales leader but also as a leader of other insurance professionals.  He was the ‘95-’96 President of the Columbus Association of Health Underwriters and the 2002-2003 President of the Ohio Association of Health Underwriters.  He has both the practical field sales and brokerage marketing experience as well as the acumen to deal with political leaders both on a local and national level.

 

 

Sales Associates and Sales Support

National United Brokers is proud of it’s well trained sales and support staff.  We believe that our success is due, in large part, to the continuous educational programs in which our associates participate.  It is vital that the agent have confidence that questions are answered completely and accurately.

 

Barbara J. Bartholomew

Barbara has served as office manager of National United Brokers since 1992.  She manages all proposal preparation, sold case processing, accounting and commission  administration.  Barbara serves as a liaison with our many carriers.

 

Patti Sparacino

As the office Supervisor, Patti is responsible for the preparation of proposals and sold case processing.  She works closely with our administrative staff, agents and the underwriters to assure timely case acceptance.  Additionally, Patti assures that all service issues are resolved.

 

Shelly Beckman

Shelly is responsible for processing all agent licensing and agent commissions.

 

 

Lenny James

Lenny manages the Individual products department of National United Brokers.  He manages all proposal preparation, sold case processing.  Lenny serves as a liaison with our many carriers.  Lenny has an extensive background in health insurance and was the 1999-2000 president of the Columbus Association of Health Underwriters.

 

Sherri Etheridge

Sherri is our company receptionist and also assists with individual proposal preparation.

 

 

Leslie Daniels

Leslie assists with proposal preparation, and agent & company communication.
